ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for all aspects of Parts Department Logistics and Warehouse operations. Manages Warehouse team including Warehouse Supervisor and Union warehouse personnel. Coordinates and strategizes with Parts Purchasing Manager, Parts Sales Director, and Production Director of Materials. Works under general supervision of the Vice President, Parts Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (insert this section only if there is a technical focus)

• Directly supervises Part Warehouse Supervisor
• Oversees 19 Union employees
• Responsible for 15 million dollars in parts inventory as well as receiving, stocking, and shipping
• Working in a 102,000 sq. ft. warehouse
• Ensures the accuracy and security of the parts warehouse and 3PL inventory with roughly 15,000 sku's
• Works with Part Purchasing Group to minimize and dispose of surplus/obsolete material as necessary
• Acts as a traffic manager negotiating, managing, and coordinating with all freight carriers
• Responsible for maintenance and security of physical warehouse, warehouse equipment as well as office facilities
• Conducts ongoing activities, training, and reviews to develop personnel into a higher state of proficiency and accomplishment
• Manages or performs other duties as directed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse and logistics management experience
• Well-rounded business background with several areas of management responsibilities
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with interpersonal and management skills
• Must have strong computer skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Working environment is primarily (office and production environment), however, at times job may require time spent outdoors
• Regularly required to sit, stand and walk and occasionally kneel or squat
• Occasional travel may be required
• Standard start time 6:00AM (negotiable)

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

$75,000-$275,000/annual salary + premium benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
