POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting a broad range of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, career development, compensation, compliance, benefits and employee programs. Understands the Brand's businesses and strategies, and ensures alignment between HR activities and the strategic priorities of those channels and the Company.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generalist
  • Establish strong partnerships with people managers and employees, in support of developing the optimal culture to drive performance, retention and engagement.
  • Identify and share insights to Executive Director regarding issues and themes in the business to proactively drive the employee life cycle.
  • Provide exceptional proactive employee and labor relations support for given client groups.
  • Craft effective, clear and concise communication to managers and employees on Company polices, practices, and initiatives.
  • Conduct 90 day new hire, exit interview and bi-annual check in meetings for director and below.
  • Spearhead creation and then ongoing management of bi-annual Brand Orientation, including applicable business updates of welcome documents and senior leader information as needed.
  • Foster a culture of engagement that values diversity and inclusion and that demonstrates fair and consistent management practices.
  • Shepard the Employee Engagement Committee in order to ensure varied programming that enriches employee engagement and appreciation
  • Spearhead new projects and initiatives aligned with HR and Brand strategy
  • Participate in the Talent Review process to identify succession plans and develop action plans to address gaps.

Operations
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to fill open positions, ensuring that each role is filled with talent whose backgrounds align to the brand's strategic direction
  • Engage ELC Learning team to create team learning paths and enhance culture of learning within brand
  • Leverage HR COE’s to bring the best process and
  • Own annual Performance Management cycle (PDP) including roll out, training, ratings distribution and process improvements.
  • Manage bi-annual salary planning and process including compensation recommendations.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of programs/processes and recommend improvements and solutions.
  • Prepare and present workforce analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with OneSource to maintain in-depth understanding of HR systems, processes, policies and practices. Align and educate peers, direct reports and managers to ensure compliance.
  • Leverage Oracle knowledge and experience to use data to support process, procedure and program changes as activities are transformed.
  • Coordinate with appropriate global HR service delivery leadership to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across the delivery of the services.
  • Delegate administrative tasks to department admin, mentor and coach on applicable tasks.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Position requires minimum 5+ year’s related experience in Human Resources with HR background and expertise in Employee Relations.
  • Ability to learn new systems & processes. Knowledge of Oracle HR and is preferred.
  • Experience with policy and process development is critical.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory factors including relevant employment laws is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations and provide necessary documentation and manage communication with employees, managers and internal stakeholders
  • General analytic and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and employee relations skills
  • Ability to deal w/ambiguity & confidential information
  • Ad hoc travel across multiple locations
