SUMMARY:
Leads all digital sales efforts across Nintendo Latin America (NLA). Owns, manages, and executes key functional areas (merchandising, marketing, operations, analysis, innovation, etc.) for Nintendo’s growing point of sale activation (POSA) cash and content, pan-regional Nintendo stores, and eShops, including ownership of assortment, marketing, and promotional opportunities.
- Leads the digital sales strategy and provides operational execution and maintenance for Nintendo’s digital content at retail.
- Leads panregional launch programs for new digital-only content (e.g. Nintendo Switch Online, digital-only, and DLC content), including strategies, messaging, branding and execution across retailer partners.
- Leads in-store/online merchandising and curation strategy of Nintendo’s D@R business with retailer partners, including Non-POSA digital game merchandising process.
- Leads the strategy and operational execution for thematic Nintendo marketing promotions at retail.
- Leads cross-functional teams to solve for physical retailer issues and new business opportunities designed to enhance consumer awareness, consideration, conversion, and engagement of Nintendo goods.
- Owns all aspects of digital-at-retail (D@R) innovation at physical/online retailers with respect to the consumer purchase journey to solve for issues and/or opportunities.
- Drives launch and growth strategy for DRI, POR (Pin on Receipt) and cash cards in the region.
- Develops and oversees strategy for growing digital content and Nintendo POSA cards through retail partners, both online and in-store.
- Business/Marketing management of Nintendo’s prepaid (POSA) and digital content business in Latam, including ownership of assortment, marketing, and promotional budgets.
- Contributes toward strategy and execution of annual roadmap, objectives, and goal (forecasting, retail promotional planning, % sales growth, etc.). Tracks results and optimizes performance for these business areas (sales results reporting/ROI analysis, etc.).
- Drives business strategy and execution for Digital Sales across internal departments with teams such as IT, Finance, Legal, Sales Planning and Analysis, Publisher and Developer Relations, and eShop teams.
- Manages Nintendo’s relationships with key vendors responsible for POSA card production and distribution, as well as key retailers in the region.
- Identifies new business opportunities, sales channels and promotional tactics that have the potential to significantly expand the business.
- Provides internal consultation, thought-leadership, and strategic guidance on digital content business objectives at priority retailers.
- Plans and aligns with senior leadership on strategic direction of the D@R customer experience at physical retail.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously and maintain schedules and budgets.
- Works as liaison between NLA and eShop team to manage offerings, updates, look and feel of the store.
- Works as liaison between NLA and Nintendo.com team to manage online store selection, merchandising, and pricing.
- Works closely with NLA sales and NLA retail marketing. Collaborates and aligns on launch and evergreen strategies.
- Seven or more years of related experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish required (Portuguese also highly valued)
- Understanding of product promotion, brand management, and the creation of promotional materials
- Strong PC skills
- NOA experience helpful
- Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent
