In this role you will need to be able to work under minimal supervision, set up and operate manually controlled machines in skilled precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment
• Machine troubleshooting, repair, assembly, preventative maintenance
• Reading blueprint and sketches proficiently to fabricate equipment and make modifications
• Repair or replace chains; belt conveyors; gearboxes/drive chains; hydraulics & pneumatics; welding/cutting; and using both power and hand tools
• Responsible for assisting and/or working with electrician to help maintain production as well as performing preventative maintenance

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment or as a millwright

Must have prior experience operating and maintaining lathe and milling machines.

Knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms are essential for job procedures

Proven capability to make decisions, troubleshoot, and perform repairs with little to no supervision

Skills Required for Success:

Strong social skills and Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting

Strong attention to detail with mechanical and mathematical proficiency

Must have the ability to lift over 50lbs

Ability to work shift, weekend work, and overtime as needed
