Manufacturing Engineer

Jackson’s Food Company is the leading manufacturer of sweet potato kettle chips cooked in premium oils. Our Snack Super™ brand is powered by heroic employees, sweet potatoes, and superior oils. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our production facility! The Manufacturing Engineer helps us achieve our three top priorities.

1. The optimization of our current manufacturing process to reduce scrap, improve yield, quality, and throughput. This position will be a team player that effectively provides direction to achieve the best return on our efforts.

2. The management and execution of our CAPEX process. This includes design, scope, installation, and startup of new assets, managing the budget, and completing the projects on the agreed to timeline.

3. A thought leader to help us innovate in the snack space and provide the engineering skills to differentiate Jackson’s from the competition.

· 4-year degree in chemical, mechanical, industrial engineering, or related engineering field

· Experience working in a related field to food manufacturing

Jackson’s Food Company requires all new hires to undergo pre-employment drug screenings. We use a 4-panel screen that tests for: Cocaine, Amphetamines, Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opiates.
