1100 13th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244 (Onsite)

Pay rate:

$40 to $47/hr

This is the tentative pay rate depending on your experience and skills

Required Skills:

Specific Position Requirements

• 3rd Shift: Typical hours are 10:30-7am. OT is possible.
• Onsite from Day 1 and Metatarsal Safety boots are required for first day. Local candidates preferred.
• Will start on First shift to learn product lines, then move to 3rd shift.

Education (or equivalent work experience)

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline

What Skills You Need

• Experience in one of more related engineering areas: industrial, production, reliability, design, manufacturing, quality
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventive maintenance and facilities
• Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases
• Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools
• Ability to work off shifts and weekends

• Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:
• Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View software
• Experience with WPlanner/MPPlanner and OMS development
• Experience with MES systems and tooling
• Experience working in a production environment

Job Description:

As an OFP Manufacturing Engineer for Client, you will provide Assembly ME support and basic troubleshooting for current operations in Front End Final Assembly.

Additionally, you will:

• Establish routings, SOE, layouts, tooling, assembly costs, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations
• Identify and implement safety, quality, cost reduction and ergonomic improvement ideas for department
• Work with SAP, WPlanner/MPPlanner and OMS to perform engineering functions
• Design cell layouts to improve material flow and presentation in department
