Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer position. This is a 1st shift position with a salary range of $68,000-$73,000 per year.

Manufacturing Engineer/Programmer

Shift: 1st 7am-3:30pm M-F Mostly. Some flexibility. Overtime as needed
Pay Range: $68,000-$73,000-could pay more for a rockstar

Screening Process: resume and blurb to the company, 1-2 face to face interviews, career assessment test, drug screen, physical, credit check

Programming

• Create programs and fully document set up sheets for each job
• Assist and troubleshoot machining issues that occur in manufacturing
• Manage and order tooling as needed
• Assist set up first runs of new parts and help train machinists
• Revise existing programs to improve cycle, tool life and quality
• Program and document laser marker jobs

Fixtures

• Design and construct drill jigs and fixtures for manufacturing and engineering support as needed
• Work with design engineers and machinists to efficiently improve current machining fixtures
• Make sure fixtures are in good repair and ensure they are producing quality parts

Design and Project Management

• Work with engineers to determine critical features of new parts before designing, testing and feining machine fixtures
• Consult with Assembly and Engineers to design safe, ergonimic and time saving assembly fixtures and devices. Work to improve and update current assembly methods
• Work with engineers to establish efficient machining sequences
• Suggest design changes to improve manufacturing times, help reduce costs, and improve qualifty
• Value analyze assemblies to simplify and help reduce costs
• Make suggestions for more efficient machines, fixtures, tooling layout, and participate on improvement teams
• Assist with managing new equipment projects including slection, plant layouts, tooling selections

• Machining experience
• Programming experience
• Experience with milling and turning machines
• Develop process and program
• Has completed projects on time
• Machine set-up and run to make sure everything is in working order
• Solid works knowledge
• Autocad
