Pay starts at $18.50/hr + $.45 for 2nd Shift and $.70 for 3rd Shift
Shift Options: Rotating 8 hour shifts (3-2-1 rotating) or 12 hour rotating shifts.

Enjoy 1 week of vacation after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing utility support to the press crews.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements
• Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment, determine the best manufacturing method to produce product efficiently and effectively
• Stage material and supplies needed to run production job using PIT equipment
• Move skids of waste and record accordingly
• Assist the Operator in maintaining high production efficiencies according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment
• Perform feed and/or delivery tasks on various pieces of Finishing equipment
• Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of finished product
• Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
• Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the equipment and surrounding area
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
• Actively participates in Lean manufacturing initiatives

Education Required - None

Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Mechanical assist or team lift, as appropriate, should be used for any weight in excess of 50lbs
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day, six days per week
• Ability to see and distinguish colors
