This role will work in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.

They will coordinate with Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts. Utilizing MRP reports, Follow actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production , the subsequent process of the supply chain.

This role will coordinate with Manufacturing and Operations Management to determine appropriate lot sizing strategy for make assemblies, analyzes requirement and executes the MRP plan by releasing work orders, ensures implementation of engineering changes to assemblies, and provides timely status to ensure operating schedules are met.

This role Typically has 2 - 7 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active DoD Secret clearance.

Past experience with Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience

Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Desired Skills:
SAP ERP experience

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.

Experience with material and
Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas

Green belt trained and or certified

Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification

Very good organization and communication skills
