Job description

The marketing coordinator plans and implements our digital and trade show marketing strategies, and manages our corporate social media accounts and website. This person is also responsible for advertising and industry partnerships.

We are looking for someone to showcase Scriptorium’s 25-year history as a leader in content operations through communications targeted at prospects and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provides direction for marketing messaging and develops marketing strategies.

• Develops ideas and schedule for editorial calendar and ensures team members adhere to

• Records and edits podcasts; organizes recording sessions with podcast guests.

• Maintains company’s social media presence (Twitter, LinkedIn, email newsletter) and ensures a regular posting schedule.

• Oversees company websites: publishes weekly content marketing posts/podcasts to blog, maintains events calendar, and ensures site tech (WordPress plugins, etc.) is up to date.

• Tracks website and social media analytics and applies search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to marketing content.

• Coordinates marketing collateral with third-party designers and production shops.

• Represents company and provides support at online and in-person events.

• Develops and implements effective marketing strategies that comply with GDPR and other privacy laws

• Develops social media marketing strategies (such as LinkedIn ad campaigns) and tracks effectiveness of campaigns schedule.

Requirements: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver on-brand messages

• Experience with corporate social media, SEO, and WordPress

• Understanding of GDPR and other privacy laws

• Understanding of podcast production

Location: remote anywhere in the United States; East Coast time zone preferred. Scriptorium’s corporate office is in Durham, North Carolina..

Travel: up to 25%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
