Job description

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Forklift certified or the ability to become forklift certified
• Ability to read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved into production, manufacturing and finished goods areas

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the storage of both finish goods and raw materials
• Help with the movement of all materials both inbound and outbound
• Receiving incoming purchase orders and expense items from various shipping companies
• Inventory Tracking
• Reviews Purchase Orders, counts and verifies all incoming shipments, enters counts into appropriate inventory database, and prepares for movement to the designated storage area
• Prepares finished goods for shipment (wrapping materials in shrink wrap, etc.)
• Confirm that all travel sheets match materials
• Creating bill of ladings
• Uses forklift to load and unload trucks, moving in tight spaces
• Loading trucks safely and efficiently following loading requests
• Uses forklift to move pallets and other materials around the warehouse, including lifts to overhead storage
• Moves completed pallets into trucks for shipment
• Picking and packing international and domestic customer orders through a bar coding pick system
• Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts on daily basis
• Keeps warehouse clean and free of hazards at all times
• Picks up small scraps immediately, runs floor cleaner daily, uses push broom to sweep under racks, and generally participates with the team to ensure a clean environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to promote and participate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Ability to adapt to rotating assignments with a positive attitude and results.
• Good understanding of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations (GMP’s) and OSHA safety requirements.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time efficiently and effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
