Matalco is a leading producer of high-quality aluminum slab and billet for the rolling, extrusion, and forging industries using world-class re-melting technology.Our facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is currently searching for a Materials Operator to join our team of hardworking, fun, and committed employees.
The Materials Operator is responsible for successful receiving and unloading of raw materials, loading finished product for customer delivery and the inspection and correct placement of raw materials for production operators.
Team members in this position are exposed to outside conditions year round; work is expected in inclement weather on a regular basis unless it poses a safety risk. Rain, shine, cold, hot, snow, etc.
Qualified candidates must have the following experience:
- Forklift Operation
- Front Loader
- Skidsteer
- Semi-truck Operation
- Ability to Back Up Trailers
- Lift 25+ Pounds
- Excellent Safety Record
- Rail Experience a plus
