Position Summary
The Media Supervisor will be a leader of all digital media planned and executed at Vision Media. It is the Media Supervisor’s job to ensure that our clients’ needs and requirements are met. They will oversee the digital media team with their campaign planning, optimization strategies, and campaign performance success for our awesome and amazing clients.
Media Supervisor will work with internal tools and staff to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze campaign delivery and optimize performance on an ongoing basis. They will work with the media planning team to layout strategic recommendations. Finally, this position will identify up-sell opportunities for clients through reporting takeaways.
Responsibilities:
Media Planning
- Guide the media planning team to identify the best digital media mix and targeting for desired audience.
- Provide recommended internal and external KPI’s for campaign.
- Work with your team to provide proposals with estimated impressions and CPM’s by tactic to set up client expectation for them to be successful and for Vison to follow through correctly on what’s planned
- Provide strategic guidance to the media planning team on new partners and ideas to present to position Vision Media as thought leaders in the space.
- Work with planning team on RFP’s, briefs, existing and new client media plans
- Collaborate on final media plan presentations and supporting strategies
- Meet with vendors and maintain digital vendor relationships
Media Execution
- Manage, review, and analyze all client facing deliverables and tasks across digital team, including yourself.
- Oversee campaign setup, execution, optimization strategies, and campaign performance across accounts
- Provide a standardized structure for optimizations used across all accounts to deliver the best media buys possible.
- Set up and optimize campaigns yourself when team’s capacity is full or complexity warrants more senior ability.
- Confirm all buy totals in software are correct and manage monthly rollovers to ensure clients budget is spent in full.
- Oversee the development of RFPs to vendors, the final buy recommendation, buy summaries.
Reporting
- Work with account owner and digital account strategist to determine reporting requirements and cadence for reporting.
- Oversee and help execute where needed the setup with GTM or other tagging requirements for each campaign.
- Work with the team to ensure dashboards are set up to reflect the client-facing KPI’s and tell the desired story
- Provide monthly takeaways for each account including recommended optimizations, test results and new test recommendations, new tactics or vendor opportunities, and vendor specific changes that may be impacting their campaign
- Work with digital account strategist to develop concise campaign wrap up decks highlighting the relevant learning gained and recommendations for future campaigns.
New Innovations and Partners
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and identify areas of development within emerging markets
- Build relationship with new and existing vendors that will offer value to our clients
- Share industry trends with the account team monthly to keep clients informed on the digital media landscape.
Managing the Digital Team:
- Manage the media teams, serve as a mentor, and provide guidance/leadership
- Delegate and oversee responsibilities/assignments ensuring all needed work is completed correctly.
- Provide ongoing coaching and quarterly goal setting for direct reports.
- Promote positive working relationships within media department and across the company.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of digital experience media experience, preferably at an agency
- A minimum of 1 year experience managing associate-level hires, with management of experienced media managers strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ad tech platforms including the Trade Desk
- In-depth understanding of performance and awareness media planning, buying and tracking, as well as campaign setup and maintenance for cross channel campaigns
- Experience analyzing marketing metrics, making quantitative evaluations of planned and completed marketing efforts, establishing test methodologies and analyzing tests
- GTM/GA4 experience
- Experience running SEM and/or Paid Social campaigns
- Experience with 3rd party ad severs such as Google Campaign Manager a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced excel skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $111,083.77 per year
