We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team at Blackwood Family Medicine of Privia Medical Group. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.Consistent Shifts 4-9 hours shifts between during Practice's operating hours 7:30am-6:30pm Monday-Friday. Potential to earn $17+ hourly depending on work experience ,availability, and skillset.
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative tasks based on experience and training. These tasks include obtaining patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs and administering TB skin tests, providing vaccinations for adults and children, documenting health quality measures, and operating needed medical equipment (e.g. EKG Machine other equipment).
Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting required or one year experience as a Paramedic and/or EMT, Medical Master Program. Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant strongly encouraged. Experience with electronic medical records is required. Experience with Athena Health EMR is an asset but not required . Experience administering immunizations is an asset.
