Catskill Dermatology, a multi locations Dermatology practice is looking for an experienced, well-organized Medical Assistant for our Goshen NY Office.
Related experiences in the medical field or willingness to learn.
Job Tasks requirements (include but not limited to): Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Experience using medical software and patient scheduling systems preferred. Must be computer proficient and familiar with Microsoft Word . Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Scribing/taking notes, accurate medical history documentation. Must be professional, reliable and dedicated employee. Working well under pressure during busy conditions. Maintaining supplies in every procedure rooms. Assisting all providers. Preparing the procedure rooms. Cleaning the procedure rooms after each patient, and at the end of each day. Caring for the patient after the procedure, ensuring a proper Post op care. Understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA standards. Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Goshen, NY 10924: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
