Job description

Experienced Medical Assistant wanted for a part time position at a challenging advanced medical clinic in Gulfport. Must have extensive front and back office skills. Professional references are required.

Minimum requirements:

1) Must have high school diploma. or G.E.D.

2) Must have completed Medical Assistant certification or technical/junior college.

3) Must submit a perfectly formatted one-page professional resume. (No Cover Letters)

4) Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word. Experience with MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel is a bonus.

5) Must have excellent phlebotomy skills.

6) Must be able to speak, write, and type grammatically correct English fluently. Scribing ability essential (50+ words/minute.)

7) Must demonstrate superb interpersonal skills in regard to patient care and communication in person, through email, and phone communication.

8) Must provide at least two professional references.

9) Must be willing to take and pass a drug screen and background check.

10) Must have excellent phone skills, etiquette and be able to read from scripts while making it sound original.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
