We are currently looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team.
This is a Monday - Friday position with hours from 9:00am-5:30pm.
This position requires daily travel to our Mount Holly office. As a member of our Clinical Support team, you will be working in our Mount Holly office providing clinical assistance to multiple providers performing in-home visits through the state of New Jersey. The daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Calling patient to collect and document medical information
- Communicate with providers to provide assistance from a distance
- Calling patients to provide test results
- Managing medication refills, letter writing, authorizations
- Daily use of Excel and Word
- Tracking provider locations and providing ETA updates to scheduled patients
- Answer in-coming phone calls on a multi-line phone system
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion for providing quality health care
- Computer literate & EMR Proficiency; Experience with Athena a plus
- Willingness and ability to work independently and professionally
- Personable, reliable, passionate and energetic
- Displays a positive and helpful attitude
- Committed to patient satisfaction
- Comfortable working with seniors
- Detail oriented
- Good communication skills on the phone and in person
- Possess strong time management skills
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
