Medical Assistant I - Podiatry ($1,500 Sign-On Bonus)

Reports to: Nurse Manager
Job Summary: The Podiatry Medical Assistant is an individual who provides procedural and administrative support to the Podiatrist. The Podiatry Assistant will be responsible for assistance with procedures and patient education initiatives and will maintain patient records within the Electronic Health Record. As a member of a care team, support the mission and goal achievement, organizational quality, and patient centered care. Incorporate core organizational values of quality, respect, integrity, partnership and compassion in all activities and decisions. Comply with organizational policies, procedures, standards of care and related laws and regulations including HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Education & Experience
- Graduate of an approved MA Program
- Current BLS Certification
- Certification Eligible within 6 months of employment
- Novice to six (6) months experience
