Job description
Insurance Collector
Direct hire, full benefit package, PTO and paid holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Follow-up on patient accounts to assure claims for patient charges submitted to insurance companies are paid in a timely fashion.
- Process appeals and and refunds
- Analyze and research denials
Requirements:
- Payment posting experience
- Knowledge of NextGen
- Previous experience in a medical industry is required
- Understanding of EOB's, & refunds
- Knowledge of medical terminology
