Advanced Endoscopy and Surgical Center in Eatontown, NJ, is currently searching for a Full–Time Working Medical Billing Manager to work Monday – Friday and perform a variety of tasks related to billing for endoscopy center billing.

Responsibilities include:

• Coding and posting Ambulatory Surgery Center charges
• Submitting claims and statements to third-party payers
• Analyzing and maintaining all patient financial insurance files
• Follow-up with insurance companies and insurance adjusters to ensure timely and accurate payment
• Working denials and rejections to ensure payment of submitted claims
• Tracking claims submission on the balance sheet
• Assigning appropriate payor source for insurance claims
• Conducting insurance verifications
• Maintaining correspondence regarding billing questions and field calls from patients regarding statements
• Managing billing office staff responsibilities and daily progress

Experience/Education:

• 5 years of medical billing experience required
• 5 years of medical billing and coding required
• 3+ Years of medical billing supervisory experience required
• CPC Certification Preferred
• Experience with Provation and /or Nextgen is highly desirable
• Punctual attendance is required on-site
• Experience with ambulatory surgery billing is preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Experience with ambulatory surgery billing is preferred
