We are currently seeking a medical biller and collections specialist with accounts receivable experience and knowledge of healthcare collections. We foster a team centered environment and are looking for a skilled individual that is a team player, motivated, and looking to expand their knowledge in the medical billing field.

Duties:

• Responsible for researching and resolving claim denials with insurance companies
• Review charges for complete information, correct and submit for processing
• Follow-up on outstanding claims found in accounts receivable reports
• Review and follow-up on unpaid patient account balances, resolve billing disputes
• Post payments and denials on receipt

Minimum Education / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Billing or Coding Certificate Preferred
• Data Entry Skills (50-60 keystrokes per minute)

• Microsoft Office Word and Excel Experience
