Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse/ Registered Nurse- Promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

Medical Office Assistant- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.

Location and Hours of Position

PHN Altoona Community Health Center. The general office hours for this position is 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (with some evening hours required).

Compensation

Starts at $17.00 - PHN will recognize experience, education and location when determining pay.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing and two years’ experience in clinical setting (preferred)

OR

• Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years’ experience in a clinical setting
