Job description
Carolina Eye Associates - Pinehurst, NC, seeks Assistant Practice Administrator for busy and growing ophthalmology practice. Carolina Eye has a medical staff of 28 ophthalmologists and optometrists with 14 office locations in NC and SC. Position will provide direction and guidance in the day-to-day operations of the practice to maximize operating efficiency and patient satisfaction. Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data related to clinical operations. Provide leadership, direction and supervision to department managers and staff. Must effectively hire, train, evaluate and retain skilled employees. Oversee adherence to company policy and procedures. Candidate should possess skill in exercising good judgement, and decision-making, with abilities to plan, organize and manage priorities and deadlines. Requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Accounting or CPA or related field. Prefer candidate with prior experience in healthcare, surgery centers, or corporate real estate. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Familiarity with NextGen EPM and EHR a plus.
