Large Neurology Group practice seeks experienced medical receptionist.

As part of our care team you will be the first point of patient contact and responsible for welcoming each patient with respect and a smile. The right candidate must be detail oriented, personable and an excellent communicator. This position requires flexibility, as well as someone who is able to handle duties with speed and accuracy working in a fast paced medical environment. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, registering, and updating personal and financial information. Responsible for charge entry, collection of payments/co-payments, past due balances.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of computerized appointment schedule check-in, registration and billing procedures, experience with EMR-ATHENA a plus.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Two or more years experience as a medical receptionist required. Full-time.
