MT Job Description and additional department information below:
- Schedule: 8a-5p for the first 3 weeks, then up to 8pm; will have to be flexible to be switched to Nights 6pm - 6am; 7 on, 7 off work schedule; work weekends and holidays as well. 40 hours per week, plus some overtime.
- (MT)Blood bank is <10%, we just give out emergency blood units; Chemistry is 70% using Vitros 5600/7600; Hematology is 20% using siemens XN series.
- (MT) Phlebotomy, maybe up to 10 patients per week, all ages, but mostly adults.
- (MT) ASCP Certified as an MT or MLS; ASCP Certified OR AMT Certified
- (MT) American Heart Association BLS
