Wellcome Manor Family Services – Garden City, MN (15 minutes South of Mankato, MN)

We are looking for a Medication Administrator to join our team. Wellcome Manor is seeking a part time or full time Medication Administrator to work at Wellcome Manor Family Services.

Hours:

• Part time

• Day, afternoon and evening shifts

• Every other weekend and holidays.

Regular duties include:

• Responsible for administration of medication and other treatments and/or delegated tasks as allowed by state law under the direct supervision of the nurse

• Will provide safe, quality, ethical personal care to the clients and their children

Required Skills:

Applicants should want to create a clean and friendly environment, have patience for all age groups, and be able to multitask. Applicants should be able to communicate well with others and be able to work as a team. Wellcome Manor is looking for applicants who are or have been a TMA, CNA or a person with medication administration experience (not required but preferred).

Required Experience:

• Must be free of chemical use problems for one year

• Understand and establish professional boundaries with clients and coworkers

• Pleasant and outgoing disposition

• Flexibility in accepting work assignments as needed.

• Able to handle sensitive situations in a calm, professional manner.

• Able to pass a MN DHS Background Study.

• Background in substance use/abuse and mental health preferred but not required.
