Kairos Health Systems, Inc. (Kairos) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Member Services Representative to assist in facilitating positive relationships throughout the Kairos Health Systems network.
While this is a primarily remote position, the ideal candidate should currently reside in PA, NJ, MD, Northern VA, Eastern Ohio, or Delaware.
A premier partner in the post-acute and senior care space, Kairos works with healthcare providers to ensure members are included in payer networks, receive the highest payment and outcomes and benefit from enhanced efficiencies. In addition, Kairos supports members through consulting and educational services, improving financial and operational performance and driving quality health outcomes for the populations they serve. Kairos is a subsidiary of LeadingAge PA, and currently serves 103 members across 6 states.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Member Services Representative will support the financial and operational capabilities of Kairos members. Primary responsibilities will be to develop contract summary and support tools, effectively communicate important information to the Kairos members, assist in facilitating claims recovery, provide admissions and billing training, and complete credentialing applications. Acting as a liaison between Kairos, its members and insurance payers, the Member Services Representative will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and enhancing customer satisfaction.

- Ability to provide friendly, superior and enthusiastic customer service
- Excels in a fast-paced work environment
- Willingness to travel throughout the membership area
- Willingness to travel to, attend and present at various conferences
- Knowledge of payers, Medicare and Medicaid policies, claims processing (including billing, coding, and submission criteria), medical terminology and managed care
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, client management systems, and social media web platforms
Minimum Educational/Professional Qualifications
- Associates degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two years’ experience preferred with insurance, billing and claims processing
- Two years’ experience in the healthcare industry preferred with familiarity with skilled nursing, home health and hospice.
