Join our Successful Executive Team!
MHRSB is a $70 million government agency providing leadership in public behavioral healthcare. We are seeking a seasoned CFO to join our executive team in planning, funding, and evaluating behavioral healthcare in Hamilton County. This highly visible leadership position will plan and direct all accounting and finance operations while supporting MHRSB mission, strategy, and objectives.
Objectives of this Role
- Lead a finance department that is transparent, reliable, accountable, and provides outstanding service to internal and external customers.
- Direct the development and use of best-practices and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, cross team communications and workflow optimization
- Coordinate the development of the annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and reporting against the same
- Manage finance staff and systems, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Governmental Accounting Standards Board, Auditor of State, and other relevant regulations
- Responsible through subordinate staff for all cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements by examining existing and new legislation and implementing accordingly
Successful candidate will have:
- Financial vision required to optimize financial system
- Strong leadership abilities including personal integrity, strategic focus, and drive for excellence
• Ability to coach and guide accounting staff by sharing knowledge and experience • Exemplary leadership and communication skills
Minimum Requirements
- MBA or master’s degree in accounting, or related field
• Executive level leadership experience • 5+ years’ experience in government accounting

Salary range is $107K - $160K, commensurate with experience.
