Mid-Level Graphic Designer who can deliver a high volume of diverse graphics and concepts in a multi-client/multi-project environment.
Summary
As Mid-Level Graphic Designer will manage Web/Social Media Creation, Design, and Maintenance. Contractor must provide expert design, development, and maintenance of the AFNC website and associated on-line products as determined by the Government.
The ideal candidate for this role uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets; generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, simulates the behavior of animated objects sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization.

- Originate, design, develop, update, and maintain the AFNC website and it’s associated on- line capabilities/products.
- Responsible for the creative design and development of the AFNC website and its associate on-line capabilities and products.
- Design, develop, and maintain web-based learning platforms, products, and capabilities.
- Perform administrative actions to maintain timely and accurate information pertaining to AFNC mission efforts and program management for any web-based and/or on-line products and services to include.
- Create, maintain and/or update static data files, video files, audio files, multi-media files, current marketing products, projects, links to other reference web resources, and/or workshop information (as applicable).
- Performance monitoring.
- Quarterly review of all website content to ensure material is the most current information available and provide a content status as part of the appropriate MSR. (A010)
- Develop and integrate social media into AFNC outreach/marketing to develop and maintain contact with a base of Governmental (DoD, Federal government and other stakeholders, alumni, sponsors, and others deemed appropriate) to provide them first access to the latest AFNC developments.
- Develop and coordinate an AFNC outreach/marketing plan that leverages all AFNC and related web and social media to ensure the widest awareness of AFNC products and services. The outreach/marketing plan should include, but is not limited to: (A011)
- Coordinate outreach/marketing activities with appropriate local, regional, and national media outlets.
- Craft, edit, coordinate, and disseminate outreach/marketing and media products, to include a periodic (as determined by the Government) electronic AFNC marketing journal. Create and coordinate outreach/marketing efforts with the Air University Television (AUTV) on selected topics; recommend selected AFNC (and other source) products to specific Governments and maintain a capability for network Governmental to easily reach back to the AFNC for products and services.
- Identify, recommend, and implement viable new technologies and capabilities to improve outreach/marketing process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Perform all graphic design activities to support AFNC products and services.
- Research, recommend, design, develop, and maintain a library of graphic design materials.
- Recommend and integrate design materials into AFNC products and services.
Requirements:
- Must have 5 years of experience (minimum) in graphic design, development, and maintenance as well as web and social media design, development, and maintenance.
- Must be HTML, XML, Oracle & Java Certified and Maxwell AFB Webpage Maintainer certified.
- Must be certified in Microsoft Office Suite or perform at that level of proficiency.
