We have an immediate opening in our Cleveland, OH area headquarters for a qualified

Molding Equipment Technician.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform duties within the Production department where the primary function is to set-up and provide process support for all plastic injection molding machines.
• Prepare molding machines for production.
• Mold test shots for QA inspection.
• Adjust process parameters as required.
• Remove and clean machine components and dies.
• Install new components and dies.
• Prepare and connect auxiliary equipment when required.
• Verify that all machine safety controls are functioning properly.
• Purge molding material out of machine barrels as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Accurately complete all appropriate documents.
• Perform multiple setups a day. Each setup may involve 1 or more dies.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Two years of related experience and training

Skills Required:

· Mechanical aptitude

· Ability to interpret and use blueprints

· Basic math skills

· Ability to use hand tools

· In-depth working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

· Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and Programmable Logic Controllers

· Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and the interaction between APRs and molding machines
