JOBAmazing opportunity to work within the Montana Highway Patrol Command staff.
The Administrative Assistant position serves the Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel of the Montana Highway Patrol. Providing a variety of administrative and secretarial support to include coordinating office functions, support services and management’s schedules.
Keeping all management staff informed of current events, the Administrator’s requests and events happening throughout the division. Handling of all correspondence, screening phone calls, scheduling meetings and performing other miscellaneous support duties.
EXPECTATIONS:
Ability to handle difficult situations with members of the public.
Knowledge of general office equipment and procedures.
Two years of experience performing a variety of office support or clerical work.
Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a law enforcement office. Notary preferred.
