This position will support our client, USTRANSCOM at Scott AFB and provides expert assistance in developing USTRANSCOM responses to internal and external audiences, for national-level strategic-guidance up to and including Top Secret (TS) requiring Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.

Responsibilities:
  • Clearly understandand link concepts across a wide range of guidance, develop approaches, review issuances and assist in
    authoring regulations and policy documents in support of the strategic narrative of the Command.
  • Assess products and guidance for gaps and inconsistencies and provide useful comments and recommendations; translate guidance into actionable items andinitiatives
  • Provide expert assistance to coordinate, develop, and implement responses based upon national guidance like the National Security Strategy (NSS), Unified Command Plan (UCP),National Defense Strategy (NDS), Guidance for the Employment of Force (GEF), National Military Strategy (NMS), Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP), and Defense Planning Guidance (DPG).
  • Provide subject matter expertise in organizational strategy processes to assist increating, updating, and executing components of the USTRANSCOM Command Strategy
Qualifications:
  • At least three years ofsenior staff level experience work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the current geopolitical environment; a clear understanding of the U.S. national security policies and objectives; a thorough understanding of the USG laws and a robust understanding of deployment and distribution operations at the operational and/or strategic levels.
Top Secret Clearance with SCI access required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
