DISH is seeking a Senior Technician- Network Traffic Oprations who will join our Network Traffic Operations team. This team processes content and performs quality checks for the IPVOD and FVOD platforms; modify the Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) to add program data, blackouts, and Pay-Per-View encryption; manage paperwork for sports and Pay-Per-View packages; create Traffic logs relaying broadcast information for Operations and Engineering departments; coordinates with outside providers and internal engineering departments to broadcast live sporting events as well as tracks and reports discrepancies.
Education: Education - Associate's degree (preferred).
Experience: Two years of experience/training in a related field or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check. Salary Range: USD $20.00 - $26.00 / Year

- Tracks and reports discrepancies.
- Processes content for IPVOD and FVOD platforms.
- Modifies the Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) to add managed events, blackouts, and Pay-Per-View encryption.
- Manages paperwork for sports and Pay-Per-View packages.
- Creates Traffic logs relaying broadcast information for Operations and Engineering departments.
- Coordinates with outside providers and internal engineering departments to broadcast live sporting events.
Education: Education - Associate's degree (preferred).

Skills and qualifications:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures.- Ability to write reports, communicate vital information, and respond to questions from managers and customers.

- Ability to communicate effectively via e-mail or telephone.
Work Attire: Business Casual
Working Hours: 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday with the occasional on-call responsibility to support 24/7, 365 operations
