SUMMARY
This position is responsible for understanding the Natural Gas Liquids business and ensuring that all scheduling processes including optimization, coordination and communication with suppliers, internal and external customers and carriers as well as risk positioning take place in a correct and timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS will include the following:
- Understand, internally educate and report all costs incurred to move product from origin to destination
- Optimize and coordinate movement of contracted volumes with suppliers, customers & carriers
- Support your region’s marketer(s) handling all physical and system scheduling duties
- Work closely with marketers and customers to understand supply and demand and anticipate changes that impact inventory position and communicate internally where applicable for proactive management of Crestwood inventory
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external scheduling counterparts, customers and carriers
- Gather and disseminate information to your Marketer/Trader to discover opportunities for the business
- Understand and monitor credit and A/P & A/R balance reports, and work with marketer/trader to understand exposure of moving product with customers and assist in resolving outstanding balances
- Manage customer and carrier access for all locations in region for seamless loading and accurate reporting
- Maintain adequate inventory levels for internal and external customers where applicable while coordinating with Crestwood’s strategic inventory plan manage physical tank, track and in transit inventories accordingly in Right Angle for monthly positioning and reporting
- Ensure timely Right Angle order creation to reflect physical movements of product and impact position accurately
- Manage your marketer’s deals’ transfer volumes and coordinate with other schedulers where deals cross divisions
- Understand and proactively communicate impact of scheduling to daily PnL to the team and attempt to eliminate unnecessary risk due to scheduling/reporting deficiencies
- Request and manage freight rates in applicable systems as needed
- Create, maintain, and distribute daily lifting, contract performance and inventory reports as necessary
- Support Accounting to resolve accounts receivable/payable discrepancies as needed
- Assist and complete special projects/provide analysis as assigned or requested
- Proactively communicate with internal and external customers; gather information beneficial to the business
- Think outside of the box; anticipate issues before they arise to minimize inefficiencies and cost
- Manage time wisely, work with a sense of urgency, respond timely and adhere to deadlines
- Be adaptable to change, work well under pressure and be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines
- Improve work processes by taking initiative, asking questions, and driving results
- Understand order to cash process flow at a high level, and support your region as the Go-To
- Understand types of facilities, product flow, costs, customers, carriers, and processes within your region(s)
- Provide recommendations through solution-oriented problem solving.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Ag Business, Ag Econ, Communications or related business field preferred.
- Entry level position
- 18 years of age or older.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Weekend and evening work may be required.
- Must be able to work in fast paced, high energy and open environment.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be detail oriented and a self-starter.
- Should have good PC skills to include all MS Office and Excel products.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
