Holcombe Energy and Eastern Freight Systems is seeking qualified candidates for nightshift dispatchers. Ideal candidates have previous transportation logistics and/or gas field experience. Schedule will consist of a set 4 day schedule, which includes three 12hr shifts and one 6hr half day.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs clerical tasks including dispatching water trucks, sand trucks, general freight. As well as EDI tender acceptance, data entry, general fleet supervision of operations, freight brokering, etc.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for EDI tender acceptance
• Responsible for cost estimates and freight brokering
• Dispatching and manage fleet on various tasks
• Assemble and type reports in Microsoft Word and Excel from handwritten and word-processed worksheets.
• Sort, alphabetize and file printed materials in manual filing systems
• Answer and route incoming telephone calls.
• Perform other similar duties as required and assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

• English communication skills including correct basic grammar, spelling, punctuation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to carry out oral and written work instructions
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
