Summary of the position:

This position exists to provide specialized nursing services that meet the health care needs of complex medical and psychiatrically challenged developmentally disabled individuals who live in ICF-IID group homes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must possess a valid, active Registered Nurse License issued by the State of Colorado (Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) OR any state participating in the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

AND

Two (2) years of professional experience as a registered nurse.

Substitutions:

Additional appropriate education will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.

Conditions of Employment:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have no felony convictions or domestic violence history.
• Must pass a Colorado Bureau of Investigations and a Federal Bureau of Investigations background check
• Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License. Position travels to remote work sites utilizing a state vehicle, if available. If not available, must utilize personal vehicle and submit a request for mileage reimbursement.
• Will be required to perform shift work. Work is primarily evening and nights, however candidate must be available during the day for the duration of new employee training and nursing orientation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.25 per hour
