Job Summary:

In collaboration with the Director, assists him/her in the daily management of the unit, in the coordination of patient flow, in assuring appropriate staffing, budget compliance, and in the preparation of performance evaluations. Twenty-four (24) hour accountability and responsibility for designated unit.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of recent nursing experience in an acute care setting; including one (1) year Charge Nurse experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelors' degree is strongly preferred;
• Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland
• Certification in BCLS is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Nursing Administration or clinical certification preferred.
• Proven clinical competence and proficiency in the area of specialty is required.
