We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our UNM Rehab Hospital Therapy Team in Albuquerque, NM.
This job is located at Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital. Lovelace Rehabilitation hospital provides state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions such as stroke, brain injury and musculoskeletal disorders. The only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Responsibilities:
Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities and Duties:
The Occupational Therapist/OT is responsible for providing occupational therapy treatment in the rehabilitation of individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps.- This individual provides detailed and concise documentation of evaluation, treatment, interim reports, and discharge evaluations within departmental timelines.
- The OT provides all necessary documentation required for on-going patient care.
- Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications:
Occupational Therapist Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum: Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution- Desired: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- No directly related experience required,
- Desired: One (1) year experience in job-related environment desired
- Current Licensure or licensure eligible in Occupational Therapy in State of NM
- Current CPR
- Ability to communicate effectively and finish tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to follow oral and written instruction and established procedures
