THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION WITH THE BULLOCH COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT LOCATED IN STATESBORO (BULLOCH COUNTY), GA.

Job Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, coordinates administrative operations requiring advanced knowledge of Health Department operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Will provide guidance, consultation, and technical assistance to clients and others within the organization for various Public Health programs, while providing excellent customer service. Other duties include, but are not limited to, researching and analyzing program/operational data and generating reports as needed, coordinating monthly Customer Service Representative calendars and schedules, reviewing, and preparing invoices/bills and submitting to the District Office for payment. Assesses and orders office supplies as needed. Will also provide limited support to the Bulloch County Board of Health.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND Three years of lead/supervisory experience in a customer service setting communicating information
OR
Five years of lead/supervisory worker experience in a customer service setting communicating information OR Two years of experience required at the lower-level Customer Svc Rep 3 (GST122) or position equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual-Spanish; Computer experience (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, data entry, etc.); Public Health experience; Experience working in an office and/or clinic setting. Customer Service skills. Supervisory experience.

Southeast Health District accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. SEHD will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
