Pay: While working $25/hr - 12 hours total per shift
$5/hr while on-call.
Job Type: Part-Time; Hourly, On-Call; Non-Exempt.
Thursday - Friday schedule, 7 PM - 7 AM PST.
Job Location: Remote.
Department: SeaDoc.
Posting Period: Until filled.
The Role
The SeaDoc coordinator will be responsible for maintaining communication between doctors and clients/patients, monitoring incoming and outgoing emails, managing data, and keeping patient profiles up to date in a remote capacity.
Requirements:- Data entry for our SeaDoc program.
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing SeaDoc emails.
- Creating new patient profiles or adding to existing ones.
- Keeping up with daily updates and making sure the doctor responds to vessel in a timely manner.
- Making appointments.
- Faxing Records.
- Helping on call doctor accessing information.
- Supporting on-call doctors in the event of a complicated case.
- Ethical understanding of patient processes, confidentiality, and personal health information data management.
- Working remotely with doctors to assure the best process and care for the wellbeing of crew members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate multi-tasker.
- Ability to accurately enter, update, and search data.
- Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with individuals of various ages, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and abilities.
- Ability and aptitude with Microsoft Office 365 and other technology necessary for successful day-to-day functioning in a business environment.
- Clean nationwide criminal background check and driving record background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Office Experience desired.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
- Frequently may be required to sit, stand, and walk.
- Frequently requires working on a computer; attend virtual meetings and possible note taking.
COVID 19 Vaccination Requirement
As of August 2021, Discovery Health MD staff are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance. If hired, you will be required to submit proof of vaccination on the first day of hire.
