PURPOSE

The Operations Assistant role is an ideal entry-level role into Hospitality. This role will act as a liaison to our corporate office and restaurant. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for providing overall administrative support to the front-of-house and back-of-the-house management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Assist Chefs and General Managers with invoice review, notifying the team of any errors or discrepancies.
  • Overview of employee time cards at the Restaurant, assisting with missed punch list and alert management team on final approvals.
  • Assist with all administrative work pertaining to the employee life cycle, which includes but is not limited to: onboarding paperwork, submission of Personnel Actions Forms and termination paperwork.
  • Overall recruiting coordination by screening resumes and scheduling interviews for management team
  • Review event inquiries and coordinate with management team on event details
  • Creation of all BEOs related to events
  • Update Employee Communication Boards with Support Center Communications, pre-shift notes, HR updates, and state/local and federal poster updates
  • Assist management team with schedule entry in R365
  • Post R365 announcements and updated on a daily basis
  • Overview of reservation management systems assuring appropriate notes are entered such as: daily VIP information, celebration recap, guest specific notes/ accommodations
  • Take notes of weekly manager meetings and send to Operations Leadership team
  • Assist with reservations and support Guest Relations Manager as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong excel and computer skills
  • Ability to organize and multi-task
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Good phone manners with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency & experience in MS Office & Outlook, Restaurant 365 and SEVENROOMS a plus
  • Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry is a plus
