What will I be doing?

  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable process, including but not limited to coding invoices, submitting them for proper approval, preparing internal invoices, and managing collections
  • Proactive, regular communication with internal and external stakeholders in regard to billing
  • Assist with financial compliance policies and procedures as well as multistate tax regulations (Sales, UI, etc.)
  • Accommodate Operations team with data entry, validation, reconciliation, and auditing for Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly controls
  • Process and maintain payroll data integrity
  • Administer and coordinate other financial systems and processes as needed including benefits and insurance
  • Working with Operations Manager, specifically, in looking for opportunities to improve financial processes, as well as in general
  • Other duties as required

Necessary Skills

  • 1+ years of experience working with accounts payable and receivable processing
  • Experience with Google Sheets / Excel
  • Able to adapt and navigate various systems
  • Must be comfortable interacting collaboratively with employees and external clients/vendors
  • Ready to take on the new challenge of building this department with us
  • Maintains an extremely high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
  • Ability to catch on quickly and thrive in a very fast-paced environment
  • Industry knowledge, specifically in accounting, and bookkeeping. Human resources, benefits, and/or software, knowledge is a big plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Collaborative, positive attitude, and self-motivated
