About Jones Family Eyecare
Jones Family Eyecare is privately owned and operated, serving the Hartsville communities for over 20 years. The dedicated husband and wife optometry team prides itself on the individualized care and personal attention provided to all patients. In addition to offering comprehensive vision care services, the practice specializes in all types of ocular diseases, eye emergencies, contact lens fittings, and eye care for special populations. To preserve the practice’s high level of care and continue serving a growing community, the business is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the team of 2 Optometrists and 9 team members.
The practice utilizes behind-the-scenes technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular conditions. Fully suited with state-of-the-art optical exam technology, the professionals leverage autorefractors, automated phoropters, Optos, OCT, visual fields, topographer, ocular response analyzer, tonometers, and lensometers. Patients will enjoy browsing eyewear from the modern optical boutique with high-quality frames from the latest designers.
About the Associate Optometrist Opening
Jones Family Eyecare is seeking a highly-skilled Associate Optometrist interested in a long-term opportunity in private practice. You’ll perform comprehensive patient eye care, recommend vision-enhancing products, and promote good eye health through patient education—on average, 15-20 patients per doctor are cared for daily. This is a unique opportunity for you to see a wide variety of conditions, collaborate with talented professionals, and build lasting patient relationships. The practice is looking for a personable team player with excellent patient and staff communication skills. For the right Optometrist, a future partnership or ownership opportunity may be available.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate is a team player who will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Optometry license in the state of South Carolina
