Summary: Performs various functions in an inventory storage setting ensuring that customer orders are prepared and delivered promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned that pertain to this classification.

• Safely move product load around the facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
• Weigh materials or products, and record weight and other production data on tags or labels.
• Assembles materials for the order.
• Reads, understands, and follows shop work order.
• Follows set guidelines for quality of product.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Perform checks for quality and accuracy of product and order.
• Packages the order per specific requirements.
• Maintain 5S in work area and department.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Computer – Ability to use common applications to communicate, create, edit, and share information.
• English Language - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and speak effectively to employees of organization.
• Mathematics - Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
