SUMMARY

The Packing Assistant at TANDEMKROSS LLC. is an entry level yet key Operations position within the company. This position is a manual labor support role that maintains the shipping and sales teams with “ready for market” packaged products. The individual is responsible for packaging raw product into materials such as bags, blister packs or boxes. The Packing Assistant may also help in the shipping of customer/dealer orders for part of their day, filling pick bins, keeping the shipping area clean and clear as well as keeping overflow product stock organized.

The individual responsible for this job must possess a producer style mentality, have a high attention to detail and be forward thinking. The selected candidate will also be skilled at taking direction, working efficiently/quickly while maintaining accuracy.

NOTE: Candidates with passion for excellence and above all else, desire to achieve will move to the top of the list.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manually package products into their respective packaging (Including but not limited to stapled bags with header cards, blister packs with backer cards, boxes etc).

• Light facility cleaning and product organization.

• Light product assembly that may require simple tools and adhesives.

• Occasional equipment assembly and setup.

• Visual cosmetic Quality Control.

• Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

• Required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit and climb or balance

• Required to regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
