About us
The Mission of York Ambulance Association, Inc is to organize and support personnel who will be responsible for providing the best per-hospital emergency medical care possible. York Ambulance was started in 1972 by a group of local volunteers who saw a need for pre-hospital care in our community. In 2014 York ambulance expanded and began to offer the same great service to the towns of South Berwick, Me and Rollinsford, NH. York Ambulance grew from a volunteer organization to a service with over 30 paid EMS Providers from all over Northern New England. York Ambulance provides ALS prehospital care for the towns of York Maine, South Berwick Maine and Rollinsford, NH. Our service covers over 100 square miles of territory serving approximately 20,000 residents increasing to over 50,000 seasonally.

We're seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual with a passion for helping patients. The successful candidate will be trained to respond to an array of medical emergencies, ranging from cardiac arrest to stroke. We are looking for paramedics who are not just skilled at their jobs, but also enjoy a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients and other first responders.
- Make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment.
- Provide optimal care to those who are injured or have acute medical conditions.
- Use state-of-the-art technology, such as AEDs and EKGs, to analyze clients' risk of harm.
- Respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently.
- Act calmly under duress or critical situations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
