Job description
- Deliver parent education services to families who volunteer to participate in the Parents As Teachers Program.
- Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or a four-year degree as listed in the Early Childhood Development Act. Certification in Parents As Teachers Model for Birth to Three. Certification in Parents As Teachers model for age Three to Kindergarten entry after first year of service.
- Knowledge of the developmental domains of a child from birth to six years of age.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain relationships with young children and their families.
- Demonstrate organizational and planning skills; oral and written communication skills; and understanding of recent research trends in early childhood.
- Possess the ability to be self-motivated, flexible, and a team player.
