We are hiring Part-Time After School Teachers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must meet CA State Licensing Requirements - (CDA or BA in Education or 12 units Child Development Units or equivalent).

• LiveScan Fingerprint Clearance

• CPR/First Aid certification current or willing to obtain prior to first day

• Must be able to provide Immunization Record or willing to obtain required vaccinations for Measles and Pertussis.

• Must complete and pass Pre-Employment Physical/TB Test (LIC 503) prior to first day

• Must complete CA state Mandate Reporter Training

• If unvaccinated, willing to participate in weekly COVID-19 testing.

What you’ll do:

• Implement KCE’s curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn while following coronavirus health and safety measures and more.

• Partner and communicate with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.

• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Lancaster, CA 93535: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
