Job Information
Provide parts technical advisory support to Dealers to resolve parts inquires or issues. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DIVAC parts, determine alternate parts solutions, research, and promote purchasing solutions for low demand inventory.
Role & Responsibility
- Research parts via GPES parts system and correct any system errors or incomplete parts set-up issues.
- Provide & interpret technical drawings in parts manuals and contact domestic & international suppliers for changes as needed.
- Communicate with DIV Korea and product support for resolution of parts issues.
- Provide alternative parts solutions for BKO items not available.
- Resolve shipment tracking issues.
- Provide periodic return approvals.
- Research invoice discrepancies.
- Communicate technical issues with suppliers.
- Provide ISP for new machine support.
- Provide purchasing analysis of low demand inventory.
- Research parts technical issues notifications received from parts issues, identify unknown parts, and inspect and arrange parts returns.
Job Requirement
- Education Required: High School graduate with advanced technical/ mechanical training or ~5 years related experience; or a degree relating to manufacturing/engineering.
- Experience Required: ability to understand and process engineering documents, interpreting engineering drawings
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to operate measuring instruments
- Ability to calculate necessary figures and amounts for purchasing. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Travel Required: 0-10%
