Kanes Furniture, LLC is seeking a Full Time Parts Associate/Clerk to join our team that will be responsible for ordering, processing, verifying, and inventorying parts for the warehouse.

Completes related reports and documentation of parts requested. Tracks and stocks items in designated areas.

This position will also cross train within our Customer Pick-Up Department.

This associate will handle emails as they come in from all Stores, Vendors, Merchandising and Customer Care. This easily can amounts to over 100 emails per day.

This includes but not limited to acknowledgements from vendors, any issues with wrong part received or ordered, any voids or finalizing requests and all ETA’s that need updated. Most all of these mails will require research, follow up and numerous emails back and forth to ensure accuracy. This process can consume 75 to 80% of the associates shift.

Reports

Works on daily reports, such as the PER report and PPONA report. Keeping all dates and information current on a daily basis.

Creating of PO’s and submitting to Vendor

When needed to fill in for the order entry clerk, this associate will have the training of how to enter all customer and in house orders and send all orders to the vendors.

Research

Works with Stores/Customer Care/Merchandising/Vendors on issues regarding coverage, parts needed and various issues regarding parts availability.
